Grus
Grusis an accumulation of angular, coarse-grained fragments (particles ofsandandgravel) resulting from the granular disintegration by the processes ofchemicalandmechanical weatheringofcrystalline rocks(most notablygranitoids) generally in anaridor semiarid region.Grus sand, whencementedinto asandstone, will form anarkose.
